Hello everyone,
I am pleased to share with you this shabby chic tag featuring gorgeous chipboard from The Dusty Attic's new January, 2013 release.
I began by altering my tag by covering it with tissue paper, then applying gel medium. I also added ribbon, which I gathered, to the bottom of the tag using gel medium. Once it was dry, I covered it with gesso to create my canvas.
I used the ephemera pieces from Pink Paislee's London Market collection to build my center design. I covered my Morrocan Design chipboard piece with The Dusty's Attic's Navajo White acrylic paint and topped it off with The Dusty Attic's Clear Crackle Varnish.
I cut a portion from Lace Border #1 and painted it using The Dusty Attic's Dusty Pink, Navajo White and Pesto acrylic paints. Once the paint was dry, I added Clear Crackle Varnish to create a pretty finish. I finished my design by adding a pretty white flower from Dusty in Bloom's Bridal Veil collection.
